CORNEIAL GEL

Corneial® Gel helps to protect the ocular surface in patients with alterations of the tear film.

The presence of Dexpanthenol helps to maintain the hydration and protection of the ocular surface, providing a long lasting relief from the effects of dry eye caused by irritation, burning and foreign body sensation due to environmental factors (wind, sun, air dried, salted water, smoke, bright light, air conditioning, heating), prolonged use of computers, eye surgery, conjunctivitis or use of contact lenses.

The presence of Carbomer as thickening agent helps to simulate normal tears viscosity.

Remove the cap from the tube, tilt the head back and pull down the lower lid of the eye forming a pocket. Squeeze slowly until a small drop forms at the end of the tube and spread it evenly inside the eyelid.

Blink two to three times to spread the gel evenly over the eye and wipe away any excess gel from around the eyelids. Be sure to close the cap.

One drop per eye, once or more times a day, unless the doctor or pharmacist has advised an alternative regimen.

Corneial® Gel is presented as an ophthalmic gel in a tube of 10 g.

Store below 25°C.

• Corneial® Gel is for external ophthalmic use only.
• Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the components.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the container.
• Do not touch the eye with the tip of the tube.
• Do not use if the tube or the security seal is damaged.
• Replace the cap after using the tube.
• Do not wear contact lenses during instillation of the product, after administration, there should be an interval of at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.
• In rare cases, a slight temporary blurring of vision may be observed due to the viscosity of the gel. It is therefore advisable to wait until the blurring has disappeared before undertaking any activity that requires clear vision.
• In case of any additional ocular administration, there should be an interval of at least 15 minutes between the application of the two products and Corneial® Gel should be the last product instilled.
• Once opened the tube, throw away any unused product after 8 weeks.
• In case of ocular irritation discontinue the use and consult your doctor.
• The continued use of the gel is for 30-day treatment, if symptoms persist consult your doctor.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not swallow.
